INDIA IN MIDEST 2006

MIDEST 2006, the world’s leading  industrial subcontracting show was held from 7th to 10th November, 2006 at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre (Hall 6). Mr. Francois LOOS, Minister of State for Industry inaugurated the show on 7th November, 2006 at 3.30 p.m.

• 48,194 visitors including 6,361 foreign ones came to meet the exhibitors
• 1,736 exhibitors  including 652 foreign ones from 38 countries
• 25 Indian companies exhibited, out of which 16 companies are encouraged by the IFCCI.  They were :

Mrs. TRIPATI, First Secretary (Commercial), Indian Embassy in Paris and Mr. Pierre-Jean BONNAT, Joint Secretary General, IFCCI (France) visited the Indian Stalls and appreciated their participation. Mr. Arun Kumar RAI, Dy Manager, IFCCI did the promotion of MIDEST 2006 in India and assisted the Indian Exhibitors.

Indian Exhibitors opined that the Chamber should have an INDIA PAVILION at MIDEST 2007 will be held from 13th to 16th November, 2007.
